The Escitalopram for Agitation in Alzheimer’s Disease (S-CitAD) study is a 12-week trial of escitalopram taking place at the University of Pittsburgh Alzheimer Disease Research Center.

The S-CitAD Study is looking for volunteers who:

  • Have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease
  • Experience feelings of irritability, restlessness, frustration or anger
  • Have a study partner who can participate in the study

All participants receive:

  • Free parking at each visit
  • Psychosocial counseling provided to all eligible participants
  • All visit procedures administered at no cost
