The Escitalopram for Agitation in Alzheimer’s Disease (S-CitAD) study is a 12-week trial of escitalopram taking place at the University of Pittsburgh Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.
The S-CitAD Study is looking for volunteers who:
- Have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease
- Experience feelings of irritability, restlessness, frustration or anger
- Have a study partner who can participate in the study
All participants receive:
- Free parking at each visit
- Psychosocial counseling provided to all eligible participants
- All visit procedures administered at no cost
