Course Objectives:
Define high risk wandering and why it occurs in older adults with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
Differentiate wandering from high risk wandering.
Discuss methods for preventing high risk wandering.
Explore principles of search and rescue for an older adult with dementia.
Program is open at no cost to community providers working with persons who have ADRD or their caregivers.
Continuing Education: L/CSW, LPC, LMFT (Pa.) and Nursing at no cost for registrants.
