Walter Allen Memorial Community Lecture: Communicating with People Who Have Dementia – Avoiding the Argument

Rachael Wonderlin, MS

Rachael Wonderlin has a Master’s Degree in Gerontology and is the author of “When Someone You Know is Living in a Dementia Care Community,” published by Johns Hopkins University Press. She works as a dementia care consultant and runs her own business, Dementia By Day, LLC. Rachael’s blog, Dementia By Day, is popular among caregivers and professionals in the industry. Her presentation will focus on creative ways of successfully communicating with people who have Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
