Please join us on October 29, 2015 from 2:00-3:30 pm for a free community viewing of the film Alive Inside. This film is a Sundance award-winning documentary about music’s ability to activate memory and reawaken the spirits of patients with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The viewing of the film will be followed by a panel discussion with Beth Snitz, PhD, neuropsychologist at the ADRC, Suzanne Weessies, Family Support Coordinator at the Alzheimer’s Association and Jennie Dorris, Director of Education for the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble and instructor at CMU’s Preparatory School. The discussion will be moderated by Jennifer Lingler, PhD, CRNP, Director of the ADRC Outreach, Education & Recruitment Core.
