Epps has dedicated her career as a nurse leader to reducing health disparities for underserved populations through innovative and culturally relevant programs. Epps created a culturally appropriate caregiver
education and training program called, “Caregiving While Black” that looks to address the cultural reality of caring for someone living with dementia as a Black person in America. Join us to learn about some of the tools African American caregivers need to navigate care for family members or friends living with dementia.
